Overseers questions from and answers to the General Assembly, 1810.

A set of twenty questions posed by a committee of the Connecticut General Assembly, and the overseers' answers to those questions. The first question provided a list of current inmates with their birthplace, age, crime, term of sentence, complexion, number of crimes committed, and the date the person was committed. Other questions dealt with the prisoners' health, what kind of food they were fed and what was the cost, their housing, security, governance, employment, and the annual expense of maintaining the prison.
